With the official countdown to Christmas begun, hundreds of holiday gifts and sets have hit the shops, ready to be chosen as the perfect gift. One brand that never fails to bring new and exciting holiday sets every year is Smashbox. This season they have collaborated with Californian, neon artist Meryl Pataky to bring an array of limited edition holiday sets with a neon twist.
My favourite item out of this season’s holiday range is the LIGHT IT UP: Lipstick + Mattifier Set. It includes 6 of their best selling Be Legendary Lipsticks plus a mini liquid mattifier to transform each lipstick. The set costs £25 ($29) with a value of around £90. So it’s fair to say it’s great value for money!
The set includes a variety of different shades, one fit for every occasion. All with sheen, velvety finishes that can be transformed to matte within seconds of applying the mattifying gel. Although they aren’t full size (2.4g) they still consist of a lot of product and definitely wouldn’t be classed as “sample sized”.
if you are looking to buy for a lipstick lover or just want to add to your own collection I would definitely recommend buying this set while you can!
